Vi's 21st

all the way on the West Sideeeeee
Judie generously drove Kat and I up all the way to Sunshine, and we played navigators for her in return
we signed Judie's card that she made on the way up as well as pointing out how the scenery slowly progressed all the way back to the 1860s the closer we got to Vi's
(just kidding, Vi's house is a beautiful 2 to 5 story almost-mansion)

and we did not get hopelessly lost ! all in all a job well done I say

fun story: as we drive up to Vi's house we see Homan and Sannie walk into the completely wrong house, since the neighbours were also having a party next door
an easy mistake to make if you ignore the sign outside that does not say Vi's name and the Miley Cyrus music blasting in the background for kids

I have 0 chill about fatty food I will eat everything, I have eaten deep fried butter in the past and only mildly regret it

I remember taking this photo of cranberry juice for two reasons : #1 I tried to put way too much ice in my cup in the stubborn unco-ordinated way that is very me and some may or may not have ricocheted into the laksa behind it #2 Joey was so adamant about cranberry juice NOT being a substitute for medicine, listen up old people! which was hilarious

Kat's face in this makes me laugh, I wrote on facebook: "she's not buying what he's selling"

yup she was really happy this b'day week, first Damo's and now these jumbo prawns

and at some point Vi took us on a tour of her house
to welcome us but also as a safety precaution in case we got lost and couldn't find our way back to civilisation

so after eating we went to lie down on the grass with our food bellies

and we noticed we all had dirty socks for some reason

we were there for a while just not moving because we were all too full to move

then these guys had 2 go
we decided to take group shots with all of us before they headed off

this is me making unnecessary faces and stuffing a full cupcake in my mouth as Selina's talking

then we got to sit Vi and Phuong down and play an interrogation game
I feel like we said it was a game to make it sound less like the actual interrogation it was
but hey it was pretty funny, Phuong's a funny guy too
and if you ever read this you got the thumbs up from us Mount Kids ey

there were too many photos so I just made it into gifs
but here are some great snapshots that I felt needed to be included by themselves

then we had cake ! followed by tons of photos with everybody that was there and all the relatives and also strangers who had just wandered in from the neighbouring streets (okay that last part's not true, fine)
after that we played Hats, a progressively hard miming game
we did it East Side vs West Side haha

I don't remember who won
but it was probably us tbh
I mean it doesn't matter but it was definitely us also West Side sucks (no I kid I'm sorry)
after that whole shenanigans we gave Vi her present, which was a DS !
she really enjoyed it which is ace
