I really couldn't think of a more imaginative title.
It was Damo's b'day coming up and I had an idea of what I wanted to do. Thought I'd start it early this time around as I didn't want to end up finishing it frantically at the dinner table (see previous post).
That still happened, though. But that's a story for another time.
Started early in the morning. I don't think I've ever posted a photo of my Florence poster, have I? Nabbed it at the concert. The sun shines through my window like this in the morning. Oh you can see other parts of the wall I guess like the mini plastic keyblade I made in Yr 10 which almost resulted in me drilling through my finger. That's also a story for another time.
I think Damo asked earlier in the year at Rye if I could draw a dragon poster? I THINK. I'm pretty sure I remember that correctly.
Preeetty sure.
Dragons are cool but I feel like I'm 12 again when I draw them.
Recognise this thing? :)
These are basically just a whole bunch of work-in-progress shots.
Added a background.
I've never really drawn landscapes before, especially not with pen..
Since I most often draw during class when I'm zoning out, my drawings are usually messy scribbles and doodles of faces and eyeballs.
I finished it just in time, I had about 5 spare seconds to snap this picture before I ran for the bus to take me to Damo's birthday dinner. The dragons are actually based on actual dragons, I dunno if you can recognise them.
They're Toothless, Dragonite and Charizard. I think that just boosted my geek level up. Well I have a blog, so I'm already well along the way to becoming a total internet hermit.
I feel like this post just screams, "HI MY NAME IS EDWARD AND I LOOK LIKE I'M AN ADULT BUT IN REALITY I AM 12 AND I LIKE DRAGONS HELLO NICE TO MEET YOU."
