it was so hot in January

I couldn't sleep in so I just sat downstairs and doodled

I found this origami pattern for a character from a game called Journey
it looks like a gorgeous game I'll probably play it some day instead of living vicariously through YouTube playthroughs

I mean, I've basically played it already
eh

read a lot of manga by Junji Ito and this was inspired by a series named Gyo
Junji Ito writes some really grotesque and horrifying horror manga
so of course
I love it

here's some more art that I worked on, a lot of it I started last year or even the year before tho

actually some of this is even from 2011 haha I just never took photos of it
there's like just as much new stuff but I ceebed taking photos of it all
maybe I'll do a February one

lastly, I entered that Shaun Tan drawing competition for his exhibition that he had at NGV
it was like an hour or two before the deadline so I didn't expect to win anything but
I got an honorable mention
which means that Shaun Tan who's only just MY FAVOURITE ARTIST IN THE WORLD THAT'S ALL commended me on my drawing
WHAT

he said the concept was very endearing and intriguing he was loving the concept it was great
