Uni's been kicking my ass
One of my subjects this semester is photography, so I've been taking my camera Watson around with me everywhere
Here are some random snaps...starting from like a month ago
This is week 2 of uni, right after Bastille
Free pretzel at uni it's obviously photo worthy ok
Some random shots around campus
Went out later that week at night to take some night shots
Stood in this random driveway
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Sometimes I wonder if I'm taking uni seriously enough
I liked how this last shot turned out
After taking those photos I then stayed up all night to catch the sunrise
I'm not entirely sure this was the best decision since I had uni later that day
The moon was out, strangely enough
By the way I hope my spazzy gifs don't give anybody seizures or anything
If it does
sorry
FINN & JAKE
Morning light is nice
I left the house just as dawn was breaking and stayed out for a few hours
I'm nocturnal so I don't see it that often
The bear is a toy my bro got me from Sovereign Hill when I was 10
And this is a TAKO Caf got me from Japan
I didn't actually use any of these photos for uni cos uh it's probably too embarrassing that's why I'm putting them on this blog, HAH
The next day I headed into the city
Mossy
I didn't really have any good destinations in mind so I got off at Flinders and started wandering around randomly
I needa find some good places in Melbourne to take photos
Hi
I was starting to get really hot and bothered from running around for hours. And annoyed, because people always stop you when you're walking up the Yarra to try and idk sell shit to you. And also because a motor biker blew a ton of sand and dust at me when he started his bike right as I was walking past, thanks.
So I was in a pretty bad mood until I saw this dude playing Ventura Highway, and then I was in a good mood again.
It's an awesome song
I was tired of taking photos so I decided to head up to ACMI
There's a Shaun Tan exhibition there right now which I definitely wanted to check out
No photography allowed, unfortunately
It was a really good (but kinda small) exhibition, Shaun Tan's one of my favourite illustrators so I was probably gonna love it anyway, haha. I didn't get to spend much time in there since I had more photos to take, so I plan to go back sometime. The exhibition runs until January next year so I have plenty of time.
ALSO there's a drawing competition being run so I plan to enter that too :)
Train home
It was a long day
I unwound by lighting things on fire
Sorry for the photo spam
Apart from this I didn't do much this week, went to Cacao Green twice in 2 days
And was sick. I got sick after Bastille, I think it was bound to happen since there were so many people and I was screaming at the top of my lungs for hours
I think I'll leave it here for now
