fujimoto costume

Chooi-ee's 21st was coming up so I spent the couple days beforehand putting together my costume
I planned to go as this guy, from Ponyo

yup tht guy
I didn't buy a wig tho

the roses were blooming again

I went out to Spotlight to find fabric and other stuff for my outfit
including shoes

luckily enough I found these shoes straight away for like 10 bucks, in a Salvos next to Spotlight
they were exactly what I was looking for so that was pretty great, op shops are the best

and ordered pizza which me and my mum ate in the car while it rained outside
i.e. doing life 100% right

making costumes is supposed to be cheaper than buying/renting one but from experience I feel like that's actually not true haha
at least you get to make it look exactly how you want it too, though
I got this fabric to make a jacket out of

I was running out of time pretty much at this point so that's all the photos I have of me actually making the thing

but you'll see it in the next post
