Judie's 21st

for Judie's 21st we headed to her house for a garden dinner party

unfortunately I missed the games that Judie had planned before the dinner, sorry !
I was trying to get her papercut done but it was a lot more time consuming than I thought it'd be so I just left so that I wouldn't be late
these guys had just got back though from playing bball

just chilling while waiting for everyone to arrive before eating
Wynne's Japanese exchange students Manatsu and Rio came too

in my professional opinion all salads should have chips in them

sat outside and talked and ate while the sun went down
heard some pretty juicy stories haha
but I won't share, you had to be there (I know I hate to be that person but really you had to be there okay no sharing secrets here)
also interrogated Vi about her new bf but that's 100% completely normal friend behaviour
then we went back inside after it was dark and insects were starting to come out

Heiman just came from his shift haha so he was late and still in uniform
and we played pass-the-pictionary
that's my unofficial name for this game

the game today was pretty hilarious and it was great to have the whole group play
it's always fun to see how much each sentence devolves into something else entirely

great and only way to do dessert
along with bunch of dipping stuff, I feel like I avoided the fruits and 100% went for the wafers and marshmallows

all of us huddled around the sacred choc fountain 

and then presented Judie with her cake !
Sannie actually made this cake

and opened up a durian which is pretty much Judie's favourite

durian is a very divisive fruit I feel like, you either love it or hate it
and we have people from both sides in our group for sure
I actually don't mind it? but I think I prefer it in other forms like idk cake or ice cream or something, maybe the natural texture's just too like slimy haha idk
then we gave Judie her presents

Jo and Heiman gave Judie this whole like, care package
it had so many things hidden inside, it was like an adventure just opening it up
you could probably survive on an island with this gift
