Ed

it happened I fell more than a year behind
worst blogger ever award goes to yours truly

so today; not Ed as in me, but Ed as in Ed Sheeran
right after I get home from Wilson's I have like 2 hours to sleep before I have to get up a 4am to head off to the city
because Ed Sheeran is apparently going to be in Melbourne on Sunrise outside Crown so I got dragged along by Selina + her uni friend Angela

I am not the biggest Ed Sheeran fan but they totally are
worth waking up at 4am and getting to the city by 5:30? you bet !

the sun was rising over the skyline as we got there
I was like dang can't believe I'm up this early

Ed got there some time or other and was waiting off to the side with like the crew and security
I completely relate to that one guy yawning

look at him peering around haha
the whole experience of being on TV seems so like alien and artificial from the outside
like all the staff and cameras and lighting and makeup and crew
fun fact I have never been awake early enough to watch Sunrise
was this actually Sunrise? is that a thing? what channel is it on? I don't know

anyway the interview concluded and he didn't play anything like we (well not me but us, well, them, you know what I mean) had thought so he was whisked away and people swarmed him like it was crazy
if you've ever seen a celebrity being swarmed by people you know how insane it is like security trying to keep people away and everybody pushing each other

so basically between the massive horde of people + security is was impossible to get near him unless you were willing to literally shove and push everybody out of your way

therefore these were the closest images I got of him haha
I didn't even do it for me ay dios mio
it was complete chaos and it was only really like a 20-30 metre distance to the entrance of Crown, he got trapped outside the entrance like maaan I felt bad even trying to get close so I barely bothered

anyways Selina and Angela really wanted a photo with Ed Sheeran so we hung around Crown where he was doing another interview
there were also other people doing the same thing
it was like Mission: Ed Sheeran or some shit

guess what! in Crown we randomly saw Hamish coming out of an elevator with only a bath robe on for whatever reason
that was p. cool

then we went to have breakfast at some place around Crown
tip: don't ever buy stuff 
wait lemme rephrase that
breakfast in the city is overpriced and you will probably still be hungry afterwards

we hung around the city some more, these guys had like the inside scoop on what was going on
the intel
Ed was like going around the city today doing some secret shows and press whatevers
so it was literally like tracking him or whatever

wandered around the new Emporium and H&M to kill time, I actually bought some stuff
shame that H&M isn't at the same cheaper price range that it is in its home country tho, same happened with Zara
oh well they have some alright stuff in there

we went to Hu Tong Dumplings, it's pretty popular and rated highly so it's always busy, but we managed to get a table because someone hadn't showed up to their booking

and we ordered plenty of stuff to go around once we got inside
today was super tiring, lots of walking and I was sleep deprived af but
it was also kinda fun, anyways got to get some other stuff done too so
