so today was White Night and I decided to take mum out to the city for hangz
I was wondering if this year was gonna be an improvement on last year's White Night which was kinda underwhelming tbh
This year's was better, I guess
I mean they had like way more events and it was kinda less crowded, but it was insane trying to check out the more interesting stuff
I mean the line for this one called "Purple Rain" was literally 2 whole blocks long like whaddaheck ain't nobody got time for that no thx
I hope it was worth it for these people who waited
and ya we just wandered slowly down from MC to Flinders

not 100% sure this was child friendly

I thought these faces projected onto trees were pretty cool
the next section was called Planetoids and it was in the Royal Botanical Gardens which was pretty cool, I was hyped to see it cos space, duh
Not entirely sure what these strobe lights were doing. Searching for UFOs? Sending the bat signal? Who knows
I really like this photo because the light hits mum's eye just right and makes some crazy business happen
grabbed a pizza cos I was hungry as heck after walking all night and headed home pretty late
I reckon this year's was definitely better than last years too

today I prepared for my imminent death by Judith as I headed to Wynne's house
I was, of course, dressed all in black since I may as well be ready for my funeral as well
(yea the reason Judith was going to kill me is cos my lazy ass hasn't finished Wynne's comic for her b'day)
I still haven't finished it, can you believe it

for dinner, we had dumplings + Nandos
Wynne reckons there's a new dumpling place in Clayton that's better than Ping's Dumplings and Judie disagrees
I wonder if we ever found out which dumplings are really better
after dinner we all sat down to watch a movie
we chose Ender's Game cos Caf said it was like really really really good
except the version I found had hard coded Korean subs HAH mah bad
it was like 1080p tho
I felt halfway through that the aliens were gonna turn out to be good and I was like "they better not turn out to be good" and they turned out to be good and I was like "YO."
and then we gave Wynne all her presents
