Upward over the Mountain

Okay so the title is somewhat unrelated to this actual post, but I was reminded of that song.
WHY?
Because this is the day we went up to Mt Buller, which our group had been planning for a month or two. Or something.

Waiting outside my house at 5:30am for Judie to pick me up.

Shameless selfie y'all.
We took a bus up to Mt Buller, which picked us up at around 6am from Box Hill.

It was so early, the sun hadn't even risen yet.
As we got higher up into the mountains it got ridiculously stuffy in the bus, everybody started to feel sick, haha.

As you can see, the weather wasn't the best, and it got worse as we stepped off the bus. I kid you not, it was literally like a blizzard. I got soaked through 5 layers of clothing just trying to build a freaking snowman.
Suffice to say I have no photos.
The other guys tried their best to make the best of a bad situation but one by one they came dragged themselves into the shelter to huddle together and drink hot chocolate with the rest of us.

On the ride back we pretty much all just resembled rotting corpses, we were all just too exhausted to be bothered moving or, you know, showing any signs of life.

I'm kinda sad, I really wanted to take some photos in the snow but oh well, what can ya do.
Still had fun, YOU SHOULDA SEEN OUR SNOWMAN OMG IT WAS BAWZ.
Well not really actually, in reality it probably looked like a deformed gnome, or malformed baby.
I'm going to stop now before this becomes even more awkward.
Okay.

P.S. Here's the song in the title, it's one of my all time favourite songs EVER.
