today was Kat's 21st and I was determined not to be late for once in my life
and I wasn't! it also helped that Judie was nice enough to give Wynne & I a lift there haha so I really didn't have a choice in the matter
but hey I helped with directions ok
Kat has this picture of her hanging in her hall, haha it has a funny story
yea I dunno if it was this one or another exact same picture, but it's been hanging in the office of her orthodontist for like ages
so much food! man the food was amazing and all cooked by Kat's mum, I needed some actual food haha since my mum's overseas I have to cook for myself and that's like...yea
I was pretty excited to eat food that not only actually tasted like food is supposed to, but tasted really really nice

after we all finished eating we sat down and played some Settlers of Catan
I have never played this game before
yea I had no idea what I was doing really
B tried to teach me how to play properly but I really was more concerned with building my sheep farm
yea I had a lot of sheep shenanigans
I'm just a humble farmer trying to raise my sheep in the harsh political climate of Catan, okay
so obviously I didn't do that well, Kat won the game which is fitting cos it was her b'day after all
Judie was looking through Kat's recipe book, trying to understand this pho recipe
except Kat's instructions that she had written down sometimes made no sense haha, it was like nonsense language, it was pretty funny
took some group pics! cos Wyn had to gO, she had places to be unfortunately
I feel like Wynne always has some funny stories to tell, a lot of things happen to that girl
but Jo and Chooi-ee came so it was all good
Judie took over my camera while I went to get the cake ready
dunno if I should be trusted with knives and matches and stuff, I feel like I nearly dropped it on the floor a couple times LMAO

I understand I think we've all been there, you know when you've been looking at bags for like 7 hours and have been walking around a shopping centre for what feels like 10 years and you're like ???? what even is a bag anymore ??

I got these pair of awesome books from Chapel St
op shop books are the best, these are two of my faves that I happened to find
there was a new place that opened near uni, I met Aysha here on my break and had some pancakes and Jarritos, gotta have that Jarritos tho
and we played chess (kinda, we actually just got distracted by our conversation haha)
yea the chess set was pretty neat, it was kind of like an antique actually, all the piece were individually carved and super intricate, too bad I don't have a better photo I only had my phone on me
drawing some Florence, she just came out with some new music after hella ages

yea my Mum went to the airport cos she was going to Vietnam to bring our Gran back to Aus, so I got stuck in the city after midnight and had to kill time alone haha
grabbed this McHappy Meal toy tho
yea the city at like 2am isn't the most fun, I had like 3 random people come up to talk to me, like a couple of homeless guy and a charity guy that somehow convinced me to buy this butterfly magnet
yea cos he was deaf so it made me feel bad haha, I was like you know what I did just spend like $10 on this McHappy Meal I can like donate to charity, ya know what I mean
then I decided I was over getting heckled by random people in Maccas so I moved down the street to this 24 hour diner place, and just drew and ate my (pretty bad) diner food
I dunno, the shake was okay though but the hot dog tasted really bland and soggy haha
ohhh and I watched this movie with Selina
it was one of those super emotional movies so of course Selina was crying (but trying not to) and since I have no emotions I was just like chilling haha
no I kid, it was a really great movie actually, the acting was superb
