some stuff that happened in May

neither of us have especially green thumbs so I feel like it'll die soon

having just read and watched A Clockwork Orange some time ago, it was a cool moment when I saw this fence mural while out and about in Prahran
bought a couple of vinyls, one random one for myself and one for a friend
there's a really great bookstore across the road from my uni that also sells a variety of modern and classic vinyls, so I look forward to splurging there when I get the chance
fun fact I almost absentmindedly left my whole purchase in class smh if my friend hadn't called me back to class I would've forgotten it

they're a play on your standard school system Composition Book
I definitely own more sketchbooks and journals than I use
I designed Selina's birthday invitation for her, it was a fun ordeal with her sending back and forth slight changes and at one point we spent a good few hours making the most minuscule changes to the shade of pink so that we could get the exact shade she wanted
well I just looked at it like getting me ready for having real clients out there in the real world someday...
it was my Mama's birthday so we went to Shandong Mama in the CBD
I had heard good things about their unique dumplings so I thought it would be fun to try
although the interior wasn't the most impressive so I was kinda like woops where on earth did I bring my Mum
well the place has won some awards for its food if that counts
speaking of which, get ready for a bunch of food pics
these are the mackerel fish dumplings which is Shandong Mama's claim to fame
they're different from any other dumpling I've had, the filling is very smooth
we also tried a bunch of other stuff for variety
just some of the food we ordered
I forget what they were all called, but there was definitely pork and also lamb in there somewhere
all of them had different ingredients from your regular dumplings in some way
overall it was a pretty satisfying dinner
afterwards we went to the Lab for some icecream, since we were feeling like dessert and it was nearby and also cos I wanted to show my Mum Nitrogen icecream
sat inside and chilled for a bit
