we went to Geppetto's today in Burwood, I think it's pretty new

I looked like a lost child again today with my hair going everywhere
eternally in need of a haircut

yea these photos were bright as heck I blame the sun
I blame the sun for most things and avoid it if possible
anyway enough about the outside world

I may have written this before but this is how I eat my pizza I fold it in half like a taco
true story, once I was sitting at Lucky Coq and I didn't have enough time to eat my pizza before class started so I grabbed the whole thing and folded it into a triangle that was like 5 layers thick and just munched on it like some kind of pizza sandwich cake while powerwalking to class
also my buddy was there was there with me and did not want to be seen with me

good times

anyway, let's talk about other people's embarrassing moments
like for example this photo, what the heck is going on with Jess' face huh

and then after finishing our food, we brought the cake out

look at this cake haha it's so great, it looks like a giant marshmallow covered in icing

and this PANDA HAND WARMER
I remember Judie being really gung ho about the benefits of hand warmers during this specific period of time
I think I know what to get her for her next b'day present

and we got her this whole box set of Game of Thrones
I have not spent any time in the GoT franchise because I am kind of terrified I will be sucked in and never be able to leave

Jess' 20th

today we headed to Pepper Lunch to celebrate Jess turning 20
leaving your teens

this was the card I made for Jess
I was diggin this Quick Japanese phrase guide on the back of the menu

there were a bunch of magazines and on the back they had these cut-out vouchers for $5 right in store
can you believe it
obviously we all grabbed magazines for the vouchers
gotta get a free drink with your meal so

so this place specialises in hot plates, all your food comes out on the one sizzling bowl plate thing and cooks in front of you
I was kinda super paranoid that I was gonna burn myself because I'm unco as heck and there was crazy boiling business right in front of me

this was my order, check out the chips in that classic Asian bowl
I love it
seriously, I feel like every Asian household has this exact same bowl am I wrong

Caf and Wilson recently came back from Bali, super surprised they didn't die over there since no responsible adult went there with them, props

as always these guys have an inability to take a normal photo

we just sat around telling our embarrassing stories before we brought out the cake

then we relocated to a bar to give Jess her presents

it was kind of hilarious how out of place our group felt inside this super noisy bar, like WOW
it was ridiculous and also funny and I don't know if I'm explaining it that well but, well
imagine Heiman in a bar
ah man, fun times

gave Jess all her presents, and Caf and Wilson were telling us stories about Wilson being terrified of ghosts in a haunted house and also terrified of a rat and standing up on a chair screaming
that might've been Caf actually
anyway there was a lot of screaming and being scared of things
sounds like a typical family vacation tbh

these were the drinks that Caf ordered because nobody else knew what they were doing in this strange place
I kid I'm just exaggerating
